Our minds are so powerful. Have you ever really wanted to do something, but believed it wasn't possible? Have you ever changed your thinking, and found that you could do it?" 

For me it was songwriting. For many years, I thought songwriting was something other people could do (But Not Me). I thought you had to be an amazing musician (I wasn't), know all about music theory (I knew nothing--didn't know what I IV V was), and that you had to be able to write music like Mozart (Nope.) Or that you had to be born knowing how. Or that it was magic. (well... it kind of is magic) 

I told myself I was "just a singer" who interpreted other people's songs. It took a cancer diagnosis and the encouragement of a friend to finally allow myself to even try to write a song. 

What have you believed you couldn't do, and found that when you changed your thinking, you could do it?"
